Job Title: Senior Architect and Programmer

Location: Lisbon HYBRID (Requires presence at the partner’s site when requested)

About the Job:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Architect and Programmer to join our partner’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise, extraordinary communication skills, and the ability to manage and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

Design and Development of Architectures:

• Lead the design and development of complex software architectures.
• Ensure the integrity and consistency of the architecture across all projects.
• Utilize modern development frameworks and technologies to build scalable solutions.

Stakeholder Management:

• Interact with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights.
• Present architectural designs and project updates to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams.

Project Leadership:

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to implementation.
• Mentor and train junior programmers and architects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Technical Expertise:

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Implement best practices in software development and architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. OR proven experience.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software architecture and development.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale projects.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in programming languages such as C# and .NET technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) is mandatory.
• Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Communication and Leadership:

• Fluent in English (Mandatory)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
